It’s been four years since I graduated from high school. That time, I had many plans for my college life. I took Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in a well known engineering university. College life is quite difficult, new faces, new professors, new subjects and new friends. There were no signs of my old comrades there. It is hard to adjust especially when your school is far from your place. After 6 months of studying there, I stopped due to family and financial problems. I forced my self to work just to help my parents supply our basic needs. I was recently employed in one of the country’s leading manufacturing company. I work there for one year and 2 months and after that I resigned. After I resigned, I plan to pursue my studies. I saw STI San Pedro and it became my first priority where I will pursue my career. I was encouraged to study there because it offers quality education yet with affordable tuition fees.
It was last June 11, 2007 when I first saw my fellow students and the members of the faculty staff it is the day of our orientation. On that day, the staffs discussed to us the school’s rules and regulations as well as their mission and vision. June 13, 2007, this is the start of our regular class. On that day I met my classmates and my professors. STI gave me a chance to prove my academic capabilities by letting me join the “Tagisan ng Talino“held last August 2007. I was one of the selected students who will compete with other STI branch. The school taught me to trust in my abilities and talents. My first semester here was really fun. All the faculty staff here is approachable and friendly, they can even be your comrades. I can never regret that STI is really great in molding and guiding the students to become successful in their careers because it offers a quality education with an affordable and negotiable tuition fees. I will finish my studies and pursue my dreams with STI by my side.
